DENVER, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Adding to its growing roster of West Coast flights that already includes service to Denver and beyond from seven California airports, as well as five daily flights between Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO), Frontier has begun new flights this week between Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas (SJD) as well as San Francisco and Las Vegas (LAS). In addition, on Saturday, December 16, Frontier will begin new weekly non-stop service between San Diego (SAN) and Cancun (CUN). Upcoming California expansion includes non-stop service to Cabo San Lucas (SJD) from Sacramento (SMF) with three flights a week and San Jose (SJC) with four flights per week. The new service is scheduled to start in early March 2007 just in time for the Spring Break travel period.
"This is a great week for Frontier and the state of California as we open up the golden beaches of Mexico and the bright lights of Las Vegas for Californians who understand the value proposition of low fares, excellent customer service and one of the best products in the industry with 33 inches of legroom and 24 channels of DIRECTV(R) in every seat back," said John Happ, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning for Frontier. "Our goal, as we continue to grow our California and Mexico presence, is to create a brand that becomes synonymous with value and excellent service for California travelers, and with the start of three new routes this week we have taken a great step forward in developing that relationship."
