DENVER, Dec. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- In order to better serve its customers and due to the forecasted weather in the Denver area, Frontier Airlines has enacted the following guidelines for travel to/from or via Denver for all passengers scheduled to travel on Dec. 28 or 29, 2006. Frontier also strongly encourages its customers to check their flight status before heading to the airport. The following guidelines apply for passengers who purchased their tickets on or before Dec. 27, 2006.
For passengers en route or currently traveling:
Rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts, and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived. Origin and destination cities must remain the same. Changes must be made by Dec. 30, 2006, and travel completed by Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007. Customers currently en route who are scheduled to fly on Dec. 28 or 29 may confirm on Dec. 27 or 28 for no fee, providing seats are available.
For customers who have not begun travel:
You may make one change to your travel plans without change fees or advance purchase requirement for the same itinerary providing travel is complete by Jan. 11, 2006. Beyond that date additional fares may apply. For a new itinerary, you may make one change without change fees. All rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule and restrictions or is a new itinerary. Customers who are scheduled to fly on Dec. 28 or 29 may confirm on Dec. 27 or 28 for no fee, providing seats are available.
