NEW YORK, Jan. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation , announced today at the National Retail Federation show that consumer electronics specialty retailer RadioShack Corporation has selected a series of enterprise data warehousing and business analytics solutions from Teradata and Hyperion. Teradata is supporting the implementation of the new technology with professional services. The first implementation phase was accomplished in nine weeks during the fourth quarter of 2006.

The platform for the new system is Teradata's 5450 server, which features a boost of 18 percent in the price/performance ratio over previous models and more powerful utilization of Teradata's market-leading analytical software.
