CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- NewHope Bariatrics, Inc., a national healthcare provider serving the needs of the morbidly obese, announced today that David W. Perry has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
Most recently Mr. Perry was the Hospital Division Chief Financial Officer at MedCath Corporation , which owns and operates a national network of heart hospitals and provides cardiovascular care services in diagnostic and therapeutic facilities. At MedCath, Mr. Perry was primarily responsible for the operational finances of twelve hospitals, accounting for over ninety-percent of MedCath operations. Mr. Perry had also previously served as the company's Chief Accounting Officer from 2001 to 2004.

Originally from Bluefield, Virginia, Mr. Perry is a graduate of James Madison University, and has been a resident of the Charlotte community for the last 12 years.
