American Commercial Lines Inc. to Present at Deutsche Bank Small Cap Growth Conference and BB&T Capital Markets Transportation Services Conference


JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Commercial Lines Inc. ("ACL" or the "Company") announced today that it will be a presenter at the Deutsche Bank Small Cap Growth Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Naples, Florida on February 12, 2007. Mark R. Holden, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Christopher A. Black, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will speak to the investment community at 8:40 am EST.

American Commercial Lines will also be a presenter at the BB&T Capital Markets 22nd Annual Transportation Services Conference at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort in Miami, Florida on February 15, 2007. Mr. Holden and Mr. Black will speak to the investment community at 12:30 pm EST.
