Charming Shoppes, Inc. Hosts Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2007 Sales and Earnings Conference Call on Wednesday, March 21, 2007


BENSALEM, Pa., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Charming Shoppes, Inc., , a leading multi-brand, multi-channel specialty apparel retailer specializing in women's plus-size apparel, will host its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2007 sales and earnings conference call on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at 9:15 am Eastern time. Fourth quarter and fiscal year 2007 results will be released over the newswires and will be available on Form 8-K prior to 9:15 am Eastern time. Both the earnings release and the Form 8-K will be available at http://www.charmingshoppes.com/investors/index.asp.

Dorrit J. Bern, Chairman, CEO and President, Eric M. Specter, CFO and EVP of Finance, Steven R. Wishner, SVP of Finance, and Gayle M. Coolick, Director of Investor Relations, will comment on the Company's fourth quarter and fiscal year 2007 results. The Company will also discuss an outlook for the first quarter ending May 5, 2007 and the fiscal year ending February 2, 2008. Prepared remarks will be followed by a question and answer period.
