SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spansion Inc. , the world's largest pure-play provider of Flash memory solutions, and Macronix International Co. Ltd. , the world's largest provider of ROM memory solutions and a leading provider of innovative Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) solutions, today announced the resolution of litigation between the parties commenced by Spansion LLC, a subsidiary of Spansion Inc., against Macronix last year involving claims of false advertising, trademark dilution and copyright violations. The parties have agreed to settle the dispute on undisclosed terms and Spansion has dismissed the litigation with prejudice.
