TACOMA, Wash., April 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Columbia Bank announced the promotion of Commerce Branch Manager Shirley Marsh to Assistant Vice President. She will continue her role as Branch Manager.

Ms. Marsh has over 23 year of banking experience, beginning as a teller for Fibre Federal Credit Union. She has been with Columbia Bank for 9 years and began her Columbia career as a Loan Assistant.
A resident of Cowlitz County since 1994, Ms. Marsh is very much a part of the community. She and her husband, Lanny, have been foster parents since 2000, and currently have 4 boys ranging in age from 6 to 17. There are 5 generations of Ms. Marsh's family currently living in Cowlitz County: In addition to her grandparent, parents, and sister, her daughters -- Tanya Neely and Tamara Marsh represent the 4th generation, and her grandchildren represent the 5th generation.
