CHEYENNE, Wyo., April 6 - Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. (BULLETIN BOARD: GLUX) today announced preliminary passenger traffic results for the month of March 2007.
Scheduled service generated 12,392,000 revenue passenger miles (RPM's), a 15.7 percent increase from the same month last year. Available seat miles (ASM's) increased 7.2 percent to 25,874,000. As a result, load factor increased 3.5 points to 47.89 percent. Passengers carried increased 11.3 percent to 45,605 when compared to March 2006. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) decreased 1.4 percent from 29.28 cents to 28.87 cents.
For the three months ending March 31, 2007 compared to the same three month period in 2006, revenue passenger miles (RPM's) increased 12.1 percent to 33,581,000 and available seat miles (ASM's) increased 3.8 percent to 73,252,000, resulting in a load factor of 45.84 percent for the year 2007 effecting an increase in load factor of 3.4 points compared to the same three month period in 2006. The company carried 124,980 revenue passengers for the three month period ending March 31, 2007, a 9.7 percent increase from the prior year. Preliminary revenue per available seat mile (RASM) increased 1.4 percent from 27.77 cents to 28.15 cents on a year-over-year basis.

Great Lakes is providing scheduled passenger service at 38 airports in nine states with a fleet of Embraer EMB-120 Brasilias and Raytheon/Beech 1900D regional airliners. A total of 208 weekday flights are scheduled at three hubs, with 150 flights at Denver, 8 flights at Albuquerque, and 18 flights at Phoenix. All scheduled flights are operated under the Great Lakes Airlines marketing identity in conjunction with code-share agreements with United Airlines and Frontier Airlines at the Denver International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport hubs.
