Hearst-Argyle Television to Appear at A.G. Edwards Media Conference on April 16


NEW YORK, April 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. today announced that Harry Hawks, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Terry Mackin, Executive Vice President in charge of digital media, will appear at the A.G. Edwards media investment conference in Las Vegas on Monday, April 16, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. PDT. An audio Webcast of the appearance will be made available from the Hearst-Argyle site, where it will remain archived for 90 days.

The Company also reaffirmed full-year 2007 revenue outlook of a range of $754 million to $778 million, as well as its full-year expense outlook, both originally given on February 23, 2007. The Company does not provide quarterly revenue or EPS outlooks.

Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc. owns 26 television stations, and manages an additional three television and two radio stations, in geographically diverse U.S. markets. The Company's television stations reach approximately 18% of U.S. TV households, making it one of America's largest television station groups. Hearst-Argyle owns 12 ABC-affiliated stations, and manages an additional ABC station owned by Hearst Corporation, and is the largest ABC affiliate group. The Company also owns 10 NBC affiliates, and is the second- largest NBC affiliate owner, and owns two CBS affiliates.

Hearst-Argyle is a leader in the convergence of local broadcast television and the Internet through its partnership with Internet Broadcasting (http://www.ibsys.com/), and in the application of digital broadcast spectrum for new local informational services through its Weather Plus partnership with NBC and various NBC affiliate groups. Hearst-Argyle owns more than 30 Websites and currently multicasts more than a dozen digital weather channels.
