SAN JOSE, Calif., April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brocade(R) , the leader in networked storage solutions that help enterprises connect and manage their information, will allow customers to evaluate their current data center power draw and offer recommendations for greater power efficiency as part of Integrated Archive Systems' (IAS) "The Power to Make a Difference" conference Friday, April 20, 2007, at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.
More than 200 IAS customers are expected to attend Friday's event, which is organized to demonstrate ways that IAS partners with leading vendors, such as Brocade, to save customers money in the data center and help preserve the environment.
In addition to Brocade's Power Calculator demonstration, Brocade Director of IT Architecture and Integration Mark Thiele will participate in two panel discussions at the event: One on mitigating the challenge of growing energy use and costs in the data center, and a second panel discussion on the current state of and future plans for more sustainable products and technologies.
