During the 91st running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 27, the Joost logo will be prominently displayed on the No. 2 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone driven by Tomas Scheckter.
Earlier this month, IndyCar® Series and Indianapolis 500 announced that racing fans around the world can find their favorite IndyCar Series and Indianapolis 500 programming on the IndyVision channels on Joost, the world's first broadcast-quality Internet television service. On Sunday, the IndyVision logo will be on the No. 22 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone driven by A.J. Foyt IV.
"Seeing the Joost Vision Racing car on the track tomorrow is quite a thrill for us, and we'll be rooting for Tomas and the entire Vision Racing team," said Yvette Alberdingk Thijm, executive vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Joost. "IndyVision has been a great partner of ours from the beginning, and together we are building the fan base by bringing IndyCar and Indy 500 races, films and documentaries to people around the world all year long on Joost."
Today, racing fans can catch IndyVision films featuring some of the top racers on the IndyCar Series today, like Marco Andretti, Danica Patrick and Dan Wheldon, on the IndyVision IndyCar Series channel. The IndyVision Indy 500 Films channel features footage from all of the Indy 500 races from 1990 to today, as well as documentaries about the history of the Indy 500 and repeat winners.
More channels with Indianapolis 500, IndyCar Series and Indy Pro Series content are expected to be added to the IndyVision channels on Joost in the near future, including Hardest Hits (crashes and safety), Up to SPEED (weekly updates) and LIFE in the Fastlane (lifestyle and behind the scenes). Invitations to Joost are available for IndyCar fans at http://www.joost.com/presents/indycar-series.
