ExelTech Aerospace announces maintenance contract from Venezulean airline - CONVIASA contracts for ATR Heavy Maintenance


MONTREAL, May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ExelTech Aerospace Inc. ("ExelTech Aerospace" or the "Company"), (TSX Venture: XLT), Canada's largest publicly-listed commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul organization, today announced that it has signed a General Terms Agreement with its first Venezuelan customer, Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronauticas y Servicios Aeros, which operates as CONVIASA, serving domestic destinations and points in the Caribbean and South America.

ExelTech Aerospace will perform major maintenance, including structural inspections and repairs, on CONVIASA'S fleet of ATR 42 aircraft at its ATR Heavy Maintenance Facility at Montreal's Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The first aircraft will be redelivered to CONVIASA before the end of May.

CONVIASA is the 15th Latin American and Caribbean regional airline to select ExelTech Aerospace for ATR, Dash 8 or CRJ maintenance support.
