ATLANTA, June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Fans of TNT's THE CLOSER, ad-supported cable's #1 series of all time, will have a chance to ask questions of the series' cast members, including Golden Globe(R) winner Kyra Sedgwick, and find out what is in store for the upcoming third season when TVGuide.com hosts a special interactive Web cast live from the set on Thursday, June 7, beginning at 4 p.m. (ET)/ 1 p.m. (PT). Joining Sedgwick will be the series creator and executive producer James Duff as well as fellow cast members Jon Tenney, J.K. Simmons, Corey Reynolds, Robert Gossett, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Raymond Cruz and Michael Paul Chan. Craig Tomashoff, TV Guide's Los Angeles bureau chief, will moderate the chat, which invites fans to send questions in via email and watch the cast live as they offer their insights on their characters, the show, the upcoming third season and the show's enormous popularity.

THE CLOSER's eagerly anticipated third season will kick off Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), with the first episode presented uninterrupted and commercial-free, sponsored by Toyota. Ratings for THE CLOSER's first and second seasons combine to rank it as ad-supported cable's #1 original series of all time among viewers and households, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. Last year's second-season launch in June scored ad-supported cable's largest audience delivery ever for an original scripted series telecast, beating its own record set with the premiere episode of season one.
