TROY, Mich., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ArvinMeritor, Inc., today filed a shelf registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to register the resale by holders of up to $200,000,000 of its 4.00% Convertible Senior Notes due 2027 (the "Notes") and the shares of the company's common stock issuable upon conversion of the Notes. As previously announced, the Notes were issued in a private placement in February 2007. The company will not receive any proceeds of any resales that may be made under the registration statement, which became effective automatically upon filing.
