ST. LOUIS, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AmerenUE, a subsidiary of Ameren Corporation , announced today that it is offering $425 million of 6.40% senior secured notes due 2017. The transaction is expected to close on June 15, 2007. AmerenUE intends to use the net offering proceeds of approximately $421.9 million to repay outstanding short-term debt. The underwriters for the offering are BNY Capital Markets, Inc., Goldman, Sachs & Co. and UBS Securities LLC.
