LONDON, June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VEGA PROMOTIONAL SYSTEMS, INC. (OTC Pink Sheets: VGPM) today announced it has entered into an Agreement to acquire the Right of Personality of Bob Clarke.
This agreement allows VEGA to assist Bob Clarke, known as professional poker's "Bob the Butcher," in branding his name and likeness throughout the world. Vega will use his likeness on websites, product campaigns, and for celebrity poker tournaments.
Bob the Butcher is a well-known U.K. professional poker personality. His presence is often requested at international events, charities, fundraisers, and on television. Clarke stated, "The partnership with VEGA will allow me to concentrate on developing my brand, while VEGA can concentrate on developing creative marketing campaigns and will handle all the administration associated with marketing my likeness. This should be a great partnership. I'm anxious to get started."
VEGA is currently in negotiations to license Bob the Butcher's personality for use in a series of off-line poker tournaments, and an e-newsletter.
