LONDON, June 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VEGA PROMOTIONAL SYSTEMS, INC. (Pink Sheets: VGPM.PK) today announced it has entered into a Licensing Agreement to provide various marketing services to ButcherPoker, LTD, of Costa Rica. Terms of the Agreement were not disclosed.
Vega owns the Personality Rights of Bob Clarke, including the trademarked name, "Bob the Butcher."
ButcherPoker, LTD has developed a free online poker website that will allow poker enthusiasts from all over the world to practice their poker skills. ButcherPoker intends to use the licensed, trademarked name "Bob the Butcher" and Bob Clarke's likeness on its website, butcherpoker.net.
"This is the first step in branding Bob the Butcher to an international audience," said Michael Herron, CEO of Vega. "Bob has quite a personality and is extremely popular in the poker circles within the U.K. Our plan is to introduce Bob the Butcher to the rest of the world through personal appearances, tournaments, and international events."
