Marking the combined talents and business ingenuity of Provo's Agel Enterprises, together with its marcomm communications agency of record Axis41, is a prestigious new Stevie Award, which was presented to Agel in New York City last week for "Best Website Software Programming/Design." Agel (www.agel.com), the category creator and leader in suspension gel technology, teamed with Axis41 (www.axis41.com) earlier this year in an effort to expand customer awareness for the Agel gelceuticals product line in the United States as well as Asia, Europe, South America, and Australia.
Selected from more than 2,000 nominations, Agel was also named a finalist in the Stevie Award categories of "Best New Product," "Best Website: Overall Design," and "Best Executive," honoring Agel's Founder and CEO Glen Jensen.
"The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide," said Michael P. Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. "In short order the Stevie has become one of the world's most coveted awards. The Stevies have been called the business world's own Oscar Awards."
"We are delighted and honored to accept the award for Best Website Software Programming and Design," said Jensen. "Our team has built an amazing site and this recognition has reinforced my belief that strategic thinking built on strong messaging and creativity is rewarded."
Agel's website was launched in March 2007 and is the primary marketing and communications tool for its distributors who reside in over 40 countries worldwide. The site was designed and programmed by Axis41, with messaging and creative direction from Agel's marketing team.
"Agel.com is a premium site that involves intricate coding, taking advantage of the best that Flash and HTML have to offer," said Axis41 Partner Steve Wiest. "It's very intuitive, has a split screen presentation that scales to any monitor size to eliminate horizontal scrolling, and is search engine friendly. It's really a one-of-a-kind, forward design that represents Agel in the best of light."
