SEOUL, South Korea, July 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pixelplus Co., Ltd. , a fabless semiconductor company in Korea that designs, develops, and markets CMOS image sensors for various consumer electronics applications, today announced that the Company informed Ernst & Young Han Young ("E&Y") that E&Y would be replaced as Pixelplus' independent public accountants effective July 1, 2007, and that Pixelplus has appointed KPMG Samjong as the Company's independent public accountants to audit the consolidated financial statements of Pixelplus for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2007.
The decision to change the Company's accountants was recommended and approved by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Pixelplus.
