NEW YORK, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- "Rev It Up 2007: Where Drivers Come to Play" is a dream come true for any driving enthusiast. Not only is it the largest performance driving school and national racing competition in the nation, this year "Rev It Up" has upped the ante with a full day of fun.

Drivers of all skill levels will have the opportunity to put a 505- horsepower Corvette Z06 through its paces on a "Time Attack" run, test their reaction time and car control in an acceleration and braking contest, drive high-performance vehicles on a custom-designed course, learn advanced driving techniques from professional drivers/instructors, race in an Enduro Kart competition, and examine the latest in automotive technology.
The event will tour six major metropolitan areas between July and August: San Francisco, Orange County, Houston, Orlando, New York/New Jersey and Washington D.C. Competitors in four skill level-based classes will drive identical race-prepared vehicles in an attempt to qualify for the final run of each day. All six regional winners will receive two days of instruction for two people at the esteemed Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.
The fastest competitor will claim the ultimate title of "Rev It Up 2007 National Champion," and receive a brand new 2008 Chevrolet Corvette!
Competitor's friends and families needn't feel left out. There are many activities available, including at-the-limit professional driving demonstrations and instruction, go-kart racing, electronic racing game competitions, tuner/custom car displays and an up close look at dramatic new concept cars.
