(TSX: WEF) ("Western") today announced that Paul Ireland, Chief Financial Officer, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities on or about September 30, 2007. Mr. Ireland joined the company in January 2005 and had overall responsibility for the financial organization. The company is conducting a search for a CFO to succeed Mr. Ireland.
