The Web-based service, called Lincoln DentalConnect(SM), provides covered employees answers to frequently asked questions and general oral health information. Access to the information is free and available to anyone covered by a Lincoln Financial dental insurance policy.

The Lincoln DentalConnect site is accessed through the Lincoln Financial password-protected customer service Web site, http://www.jpfic.com/. The tools and information available at the site include a dentist locator; a "Dental Health News" section; common dental problems, treatments, and prevention; oral health tips for infants, children, and seniors; cosmetic dentistry; an "Ask a Dentist" feature; and a host of other valuable data. By providing this online service as part of its group dental coverage, Lincoln Financial hopes to further promote the importance of good dental hygiene and routine oral exams.
"Whether you need to find a dentist near your home or office, want to calculate the average cost of a procedure, or would like to learn more about the link between gum disease and pancreatic cancer, Lincoln DentalConnect can help," explains Julie Fried, vice president of marketing for Lincoln Employer Markets Group Protection segment. Lincoln Financial has contracted with go2dental.com to provide the Lincoln DentalConnect site. Established in 1999, go2dental.com today has more than 10 million members through its clients that include employers, dental insurance companies, and third party administrators.
