NEW YORK, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicell Inc. (NASD: OMCL) will replace Chaparral Steel Co. (NASD: CHAP) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on a date to be announced. Chaparral Steel is being acquired by Gerdau AmeriSteel Corp. in a deal that is still pending final approvals.
