Statewide Tip-A-Cop Fundraiser to Benefit Special Olympics Washington

SEATTLE, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 12 to 8 p.m., local law enforcement officers will trade in their handcuffs and badges for serving aprons and burgers at Red Robin(R) restaurants in Washington for a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. Tip-A-Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign (LETR). "On behalf of Special Olympics Washington, we would like to thank local law enforcement and Red Robin for their incredible support," said Don Pierce, executive director, Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs, and SOWA Board member.
