Genpact, which manages business processes for companies around the world, has announced it will open its new Latin America headquarters facility in Juárez, Mexico, tomorrow (Wednesday, September 19). The 125,000 sq. ft. (11,612 sq. meter) custom-built facility in north Juárez is part of an ongoing expansion of Genpact's operations in Mexico.
Genpact is currently one of the largest finance and IT employers in northern Mexico. The global firm provides services to GE and more than three dozen well-known brands. Combined with other facilities in Juárez and in Caborca, Sonora, Genpact has more than 250,000 sq. ft. (23,224 sq. meter) of space under roof in Mexico.
"We are extremely proud of our operations in Mexico, which are growing and among the oldest in our company," said Pramod Bhasin, president & CEO, Genpact. "This expansion is due to the positive response we're seeing from our North American and global clients who want high-quality, cost-effective solutions to help their businesses run more smoothly."
According to Juan F. Ferrara, Genpact's Mexico-born Chief Operating Officer for the Americas, Juárez has demonstrated it has the educational and training facilities, talent pool and positive business climate for Genpact to continue growing in the city. "We are extremely appreciative of the city's support. This expansion will help us establish an even stronger base here and facilitate our expansion into other Latin American countries," he said.
Across more than 25 delivery centers worldwide, Genpact provides an array of finance and accounting, collections and customer service, insurance, supply chain and procurement, analytics, enterprise application, and IT infrastructure services to clients in a variety of industries.
"For over 15 years, we have maintained a constant presence in Cd. Juárez, offering a broad spectrum of career opportunities to local citizens," said Steve Rudderham, CEO, Genpact Latin America. "Our customers appreciate the quality of our people and the quality of our work. We are proud that this new facility will serve not only as the headquarters for Genpact in Mexico but all of Latin America as well."
In addition to Juárez Mayor Hector Murguia's attendance, approximately 30 customer representatives will be on hand for Wednesday's grand opening ceremonies, which will begin at 2 p.m. EDT / 12 noon MDT.
