Orange Coast Magazine's Linda Goldstein Promoted to Publisher; Jeff Ditmire Hired as President

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Emmis Publishing L.P., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Emmis Communications Corporation , today announced that Linda Goldstein has been promoted to publisher of Orange Coast. Previously vice president of sales, Goldstein has been with the magazine for 26 years and is responsible for all advertising revenues. She first joined the company as an account executive, and within a few years was promoted to sales manager and director of advertising, before becoming vice president.

"I am deeply honored to be chosen to help lead OC magazine as it begins its new journey as part of such a prestigious family of magazines," said Goldstein. "We have an enormously talented staff, and their continued dedication and enthusiasm has made us the leading magazine of Orange County for 33 years."

Emmis also announced that it has hired Jeff Ditmire as president of Orange Coast. He will be responsible for general operations, including new business development, circulation and production. He most recently served as publisher of Bonnier Corp.'s Florida group: Florida Travel & Life, HOME Miami and HOME Fort Lauderdale. Ditmire's professional experience also includes tenures as publisher of San Francisco magazine and western regional sales manager for Time Inc.'s Media Networks Inc. From 1996-2000 he served at Emmis-owned Atlanta Magazine as advertising director and associate publisher.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., Orange Coast was purchased by Emmis Publishing in July. The company's California properties also include Los Angeles and Tu Ciudad Los Angeles magazines.
