The Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has appointed Lisa MacMillen as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective October 15, 2007.
Ms. MacMillen will oversee the activities of the Bank's operational divisions, which include Finance, Financial Risk Management, Financial Services and Community Investment, Credit and Collateral Risk Management, Controller's Department, Information Services, and Enterprise Risk Management.
Since 1998, Ms. MacMillen has been Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary, responsible for corporate governance matters, policy issues and special projects for the Bank's management and Board of Directors. From 1998 to 2005, she also served as General Counsel. Ms. MacMillen joined the Bank as a staff attorney in 1986; she was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1992 and Vice President in 1997.
Ms. MacMillen earned a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Economics from Miami University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
