BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albemarle Corporation , the world's foremost provider of petroleum refining catalysts and additives, will increase globally the price of its fluidized catalytic cracking (FCC) catalysts to a minimum of US $3,100 per metric ton effective January 1, 2008, or as contracts allow.
