Four Points by Sheraton is launching a new initiative that's about awakening spirits. In an unprecedented move, the hotel giant is waking up the spirit of giving as they launch their first ever Four Points by Sheraton Halloween Costume Drive in hotels across the country. Voluntourism- the idea of volunteering on vacation- is the fastest growing segment of the global travel industry. Four Points recognized the feel-good trend and offered guests, hotel staff and the community a chance to make a difference by giving to children in need of a smile. All Halloween gear donated was delivered to smiling youngsters on October 29th, with a message that do-gooding and fun go hand in hand.
Dozens of North American Four Points Hotels and Starwood Corporate offices collected costumes to bring to their local children's hospitals. Properties across the continent from Halifax, Ontario, Chicago, down to Knoxville, TN did their part as well as Starwood's corporate offices in White Plains, Phoenix, and Atlanta who also jumped on board to participate in kicking off Four Points by Sheraton's First Halloween Costume drive.
