EAST HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Locals 700, 1746 and 1746A of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), representing hourly employees at Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, East Hartford and Cheshire, ratified a new three-year labor contract today by a vote of 2,831 to 326. Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. company.
The agreement covers more than 4,100 employees in Middletown, East Hartford and Cheshire and is effective at midnight, December 2, 2007.
