EL SEGUNDO, CA, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX: CDV) today announced that Dan White has been appointed as President of COM DEV USA. Mr. White will be responsible for establishing a US domestic source in the area of the Company's core competency and completing the build-out of the Company's new Los Angeles-area manufacturing facility.

Mr. White joined COM DEV USA earlier this year with over 20 years of satellite technology experience. He spent the first 16 years of his career at Hughes Space and Communications (acquired by Boeing in 2000), holding positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and business unit management, including management of the company's microwave operations. In 2002, Mr. White moved to Lockheed Martin where he was Director of Satellite Payload Engineering. Most recently, as VP of Engineering with Datapath of Duluth, Georgia, he was instrumental in doubling the size of the technical staff and adding critical design and analytical skills to the organization.
