EMERYVILLE, Calif., Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. , a leading developer of technology-based learning products, today announced the appointment of Mark A. Etnyre as vice president, corporate controller and principal accounting officer. Mr. Etnyre joins the Company most recently from Microsoft Corporation, where he spent 9 years as controller for major licensing divisions. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, Mr. Etnyre was a senior audit manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP.

Mr. Etnyre brings an extensive background in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting and analysis, accounting, reporting and regulatory compliance to his role at LeapFrog. His Microsoft finance experience included roles as senior controller for the OEM licensing division and financial controller and compliance manager positions at Microsoft Licensing, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary. Mr. Etnyre began his finance career with Deloitte & Touche, LLP becoming a senior manager of audit and SEC reporting for multinational publicly-traded entities.
Mr. Etnyre received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a certified public accountant.
