American Airlines Customers Earn AAdvantage Bonus Miles on Round-Trip Flights Between United States and England

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines has announced that AAdvantage(R) members who book and travel on eligible fares between the United States and England can now earn up to 60,000 AAdvantage bonus miles. To qualify, members simply need to book and fly on their next trip by May 15, 2008, and register prior to travel at http://www.aa.com/offers using promotion code LON08.

After round-trip travel to any of England's four airports, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester and Stansted, AAdvantage members earn between 2,500 and 60,000 bonus miles -- miles that can be used toward flying to more than 700 exciting destinations worldwide. The more you fly, the more you earn!

Here's how the promotion works: Discounted First/Business Economy Class Economy Class Class (Booked Fares Fares in F, P, J, (Booked in Y, (Booked in L, A, D or I) B, H or K) M, N, S or V) First Round Trip 10,000 bonus miles 5,000 miles 2,500 miles Second Round Trip 20,000 bonus miles 10,000 bonus 5,000 bonus miles miles Third Round Trip 30,000 bonus miles 15,000 bonus 7,500 bonus miles miles Total bonus earned 60,000 bonus miles 30,000 bonus 15,000 bonus miles miles

"We're making it even easier for members to increase their mileage balance, opening the door for travel to hundreds of destinations worldwide on American Airlines or any of our more than 20 AAdvantage-participating airlines," said Dan Garton, American's Executive Vice President-Marketing. "What better incentive to plan a trip to England than earning AAdvantage bonus miles?"

For more information on the promotion and how to earn bonus miles on round-trip flights between the United States and the United Kingdom, please visit http://www.aa.com/offers. Membership in the AAdvantage program is free. To enroll, log on to http://www.aa.com/enroll.

The AAdvantage Program was the first and is the world's largest frequent flyer program. Established in 1981, the program now has more than 56 million members. Members can earn miles at more than 1,000 participating companies, which include more than 35 hotel chains representing more than 75 brands, more than 20 airlines, eight car-rental companies, 18 financial companies, and over 250 brand name retailers. In addition, members can earn miles when making purchases with one of more than 97 affinity card products in over 41 countries.
