(Bovespa: ABNB3), the leader in solutions involving plastic cards, identification systems and print service management in the market where it operates, announces its results for 2007 and 4Q07. Except where stated otherwise, the 2007 and 4Q07 financial and operational information herein is presented in Brazilian Real and on a consolidated basis with our subsidiaries Trust and Transtex, pursuant to Brazilian Corporate Law.
Highlights of the Period -- Tenth straight year of net-income growth. -- EBITDA in 4Q07 of R$30.6 million, up 16.3% on 4Q06 (R$26.3 million). In 2007, EBITDA was R$124.1 million, 10% higher than in 2006 (R$112.9 million). -- Net Revenue growth in the quarter of 21.4% year-on-year. -- Sales volume in the quarter posted impressive year-on-year growth in all three units: 37.0% in cards, 19.0% in ID systems and 43.5% in print services. -- Consolidation of print services unit recovery in the quarter, with outstanding growth of 56.3% year-on-year in EBITDA. -- Agreement to acquire Interprint, one of our main competitors and the Brazilian arm of the Swedish group Bonnier, which operates in cards, ID systems and print services, and offers payment and ID solutions.
