The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), an organization focused on accelerating the growth of the global semiconductor industry, and the India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the trade body representing the Indian semiconductor driven industry, today jointly announce the signing of a collaborative memorandum of understanding to form an organizational alliance.
The organizational alliance teams global and regional efforts for the benefit of the semiconductor community. GSA and ISA will provide ongoing co-support of each other's initiatives and activities and will focus on fostering business relationships among member companies while promoting international exhibitions, conferences and seminars. These efforts will benefit the network for both organizations. In addition, GSA and ISA will exchange industry report and research information and assist one another with trade delegations among their members.
"We have collaborated with ISA on several initiatives since 2005 and are pleased to officially form an organizational alliance, said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of GSA. "Future collaboration will bring increased value and resources to our global semiconductor members.
"We look forward to an expanded and long-term, rewarding partnership with GSA and its members, said S. Janakiraman, Chairman of ISA. "Our organizations will work with each other on a range of activities to demonstrate our mutual interests and value to support the semiconductor industry.
