The company was the only carrier to dominate a single awards category -- winning seven of eight Ethernet awards, including Best Overall, as well as an MPLS award for Private IP Performance Monitoring and Reporting.

As part of its advanced communications services research, Nemertes asked participants to rate their service providers in multiple categories. In the major carriers group, Verizon Business nearly swept the Ethernet category with seven wins: Best Technical Service, Best Network Performance & Reliability, Best Technology Innovation, Best Value, Best Performance Monitoring & Reporting, Best SLAs and Best Overall. Verizon Business was also a winner for Performance Monitoring & Reporting in the MPLS category for major carriers.
The Nemertes PilotHouse Awards ceremony was held Monday (April 14) at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston in conjunction with the FutureNet tradeshow.
