Assured Guaranty (UK) Ltd., a subsidiary of Assured Guaranty Corp., a leading triple-A (stable) rated financial guaranty insurance company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ralph Eley as Managing Director, Infrastructure Finance.

Mr. Eley, who will report to Mr. Bajer, will be responsible for managing the transaction origination and underwriting team for international infrastructure finance, which includes general infrastructure, renewable energy, regulated utilities and public private partnerships in the European, Middle Eastern and African markets.
Mr. Eley has more than 15 years of experience in the global infrastructure finance market. Prior to joining Assured, he was Director and Head of Continental European Infrastructure and Utilities Origination at Ambac Assurance (UK) Ltd, where he closed over £3 billion of infrastructure transactions. Previously, he held the position of Director, Infrastructure Investments at the Bank of Scotland, where he was responsible for project finance advisory and investments.
Mr. Eley has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
