Gander Mountain Grand Opening of Eau Claire Store

ST. PAUL, Minn., May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gander Mountain, the nation's largest retail network of stores for hunting, fishing, camping, boating, marine, and outdoor lifestyle apparel and footwear, products and services celebrates the Grand Opening of its newest store at the intersection of I-94 and Highway 53 in Eau Claire.

The Grand Opening ceremonies begin on Friday, May 30th at 8:00 A.M. Several well-known outdoor personalities will help celebrate throughout the Grand Opening weekend including: Gary Roach, a member of the Fishing Hall of Fame in 1988; Ted Takasaki, professional Walleye angler and president of Lindy-Little Joe, Inc.; and Joe Bucher, author, writer and television host of "Fishing with Joe Bucher."

Gander Mountain will be giving away a variety of gift cards and Gander Mountain caps, t-shirts and water bottles to a limited number of "first shoppers" on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Full details about Grand Opening activities area available at: http://www.gandermountain.com/.

Gander Mountain's 65,000 square foot Eau Claire store will be a community attraction with its innovative outdoor products and services tailored to Wisconsin's outdoors enthusiasts. In the store, customers will find a broad selection of apparel and footwear, firearms, hunting and fishing equipment as well as archery and camping equipment.

The store offers a full range of services including: on-site gunsmiths, an archery lane and full-service archery shop, line winding, and a staff of associates with a wealth of knowledge about the outdoor products carried in the store. The store will also contain a "Gander Mountain Lodge," a meeting room provided free of charge for meetings of local outdoor, business or community groups. Throughout the year Gander Mountain provides educational courses for outdoor enthusiasts in the Lodge, and offers more hunter safety programs through its Lodges than any other source in the United States.

Gander Mountain's Eau Claire store is the retailer's 13th in Wisconsin and will replace the former Eau Claire store located at 4045 Commonwealth Ave.
