NEW YORK, June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- OMD has announced the launch of a new catalyst creative group dedicated to thinking new and thinking different. The new department, "The Factory: Ignition 3.0", will focus on developing creative ideas, new media consulting, and marketing and promotional ideas to help OMD clients. Jonathan Haber has been appointed to head this group as US Director, it was announced today by Page Thompson, CEO of OMD North America. He will be based in Los Angeles.
Haber joins OMD after five years at Interpublic Group's Initiative, where he ran the Innovations department. He helped win new business with a number of clients in multiple categories, and serviced new clients with breakthrough ideas that helped them build their businesses. In addition, he led efforts in helping clients navigate the new media landscape. Haber began his career at Rogers & Cowan in the integrated marketing department.
New Managing Director for OMD West
Greg Castronuovo is also joining OMD as Managing Director, OMD West. Greg will be responsible for managing and developing OMD's clients in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle and will be based in the Los Angeles office. Castronuovo replaces Monica Karo who was promoted to President, Integrated Accounts, OMD West, as previously announced (April 23).
Castronuovo brings to OMD nearly 20 years experience in marketing, media and digital working at NBC, FOX, World Wrestling, and Virgin Mobile. He joins OMD after spending the last several years as SVP, Entertainment for Initiative New York where he managed the CBS, Showtime, AOL, Fuse and Nikon businesses. He and his family are relocating to Los Angeles.
