Beginning Thursday, July 3 through Sunday, July 6, the Cedar Point Prize Patrol will be popping up all around Cedar Point and randomly selecting guests to win exciting prizes.
Among the goodies the Prize Patrol will be giving away during the holiday weekend will be several Johnson Ultimate Grill Packages that include a Vortex "Swirling Air" Tabletop gas grill, tongs, oven mitt, chef's hat and free Johnsonville products for a year. Other winners will snag free Johnsonville brats, money-saving coupons for Johnsonville products and the always-popular Brat Beads.
Plus, there is more. The Prize Patrol will also be giving away Weber One-Touch charcoal grills, compliments of Meijer, Grand Rapids, Mich., and the Weber-Stephen Products Co., Palatine, Ill. Other freebies include Diet Pepsi Max tote bags and beach towels and sample packs of Shearer's Potato Chips, from Shearer's Foods, Inc., Brewster, Ohio.

The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill, one of the largest grills in the world, will also be serving tasty brats throughout the weekend. For only $4.69 plus tax, guests can purchase a Meal Deal that includes a brat, Pepsi product and a bag of Shearer's Potato Chips. The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill weighs more than 53,000 pounds and is more than 65 feet long. It has the capacity to cook more than 750 brats at one time and more than 2,500 in an hour.
Other activities planned for Cedar Point's All-American July Fourth Weekend include a colorful fireworks display beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, July 4 when Cedar Point will be open until midnight. There will also be performances by the 338th U.S. Army Reserve Band, a 90-member marching band, and special displays and souvenirs commemorating the 45th anniversary of the Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad, one of the park's oldest existing rides. Since 1963, the authentic coal-burning steam engines have given more than 109 million rides.
