What: | CommonBond Communities brings sustainable practices to low-income housing residents via unique partnerships with GE, Minnesota Waste Wise and others. In one day, 400 GE volunteers will transform the grounds of Torre de San Miguel Homes, a 142-unit family housing community with 521 multicultural residents in St. Paul, to stop soil erosion and runoff into the Mississippi River. This event is one element in developing a longer-term strategy to benefit CommonBond's 107 housing communities in the Upper Midwest. | |
