TracFone is extending its service expiration dates for all customers in the affected areas of Hurricane Ike, as defined by FEMA. As of September 12th, any TracFone or Net10 subscriber who is in these affected areas and has a service expiration date in the next 10 days will receive an extra 10 days of service at no extra charge.
Currently, 45 counties have been declared as being in a "State of Emergency." TracFone will monitor FEMA announcements as the storm evolves and apply the same policy to additional "State of Emergency" designations as they arise.
