VANCOUVER, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Wind Energy Inc. (the "Company" - OTCBB: CWEY) announces that on September 19, 2008 it was subject to an "E" on its symbol in error and it has now been removed.
On November 30, 2007 the Company filed a Form 8-K disclosing that the fiscal year end of the Company had been changed to July 31, as a result of the reverse merger transaction completed on November 27, 2007.
FINRA inadvertently did not record this change of fiscal year end in its records and as a result of the recent filing deadlines, recorded the Company as failing to file its quarterly report on Form10-Q.
FINRA confirmed that the "E" was an error and it was immediately removed from the Company's record. FINRA also updated their delinquency company list, removing the Company.
The Company wishes to confirm that its filings are current and up-to-date and the next filing will be its annual report on Form 10-K due October 29, 2008.
