PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tyco International Ltd. (the "Company") today announced the expiration, as of 5:00 p.m. New York time, on October 16, 2008, of the previously announced exchange offer of its 7.0% notes due 2019 and its 6.875% notes due 2021. The Company accepted all notes validly tendered and not validly withdrawn in the exchange offer.
The Company expects to complete the exchange offer and on October 17, 2008 to issue new registered 7.0% notes due 2019 in exchange for old 7.0% notes due 2019 and new registered 6.875% notes due 2021 in exchange for old 6.875% notes due 2021.
