Advice Company, the parent of the leading online consumer attorney directory www.attorneypages.com, today announced the launch of a new mobile phone interface to help consumers locate a lawyer. AttorneyPages' new technology works on the T-Mobile G1 (Google phone) which was released today and other mobile phones such as the iPhone and Blackberry. Users can simply point their mobile phone's browser at http://m.attorneypages.com. They then key in the zip code and area of practice in which they need an attorney. A list of qualified attorneys will appear, and clicking on any one will generate an immediate phone call.
Almost 85% of U.S. consumers now subscribe to mobile phone service. Thanks to the new smart phones, a majority of mobile phone users surveyed increased the amount of time spent on their phones by 25 percent in the past year according to a recent Azuki Mobile Phone survey.
Advice Company CEO, Steven Lurie, believes this trend will continue, particularly with the launch today of the Google phone and the latest iPhone.
"With more and more consumers using mobile phones, we view this technology platform as critical in our efforts to help consumers find the professional services they need quickly and efficiently," Lurie said.
"Advice Company is constantly seeking innovative ways for clients to connect with professional services. Searching through a phone book to find lawyers may be over," he added.
