Associated Packaging Technologies (APT), a leading worldwide producer of food trays headquartered in Chadds Ford, PA, has expanded its corporate team with key appointments.
Richard Schwarz is APT's new Director of Research and Development. He has extensive experience in commercializing packaging concepts, most recently for Winpak Portion Packaging, a rigid food packaging and lidding thermoformer. He served in a similar capacity for a large polypropylene resin manufacturer and holds 20 U.S. patents. Schwarz has an M.S. in Chemistry from Wright State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Dakota.
APT hired Jeffery Lucash to expand field sales operations and explore new tray markets as National Sales Manager - Food Service and Distribution. He has overseen territorial sales organizations and developed national account business in the casual dining, QSR, and supermarket segments for companies like Placon and C&M Fine Pack. Lucash has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Mansfield University.
In support of programs like the recent launch of a recycled PET frozen food tray line for ConAgra Foods, APT appointed Ron Skotleski as Marketing Analyst. He has an MBA degree in Strategic Marketing from San Diego State University and a BS degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University. Skotleski is a member of the International Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
