NEW YORK, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- STAR Marketing Services Group (http://www.starmsgroup.com/) has appointed Matthew Sinacori Vice President, Operations and Business Development. Based in New York, Sinacori will report to Ed McNally, CEO, STAR Marketing.
In this newly created position, Sinacori's key areas of responsibility will involve operations, human resources, business development and marketing, strategy, and special projects. The role will include reviewing capabilities and goals for individual STAR operating entities as well as developing and defining the optimal efforts for STAR Corporate to support and maximize its value to those companies. Sinacori will then drive implementation of final plans and further enhance cooperative and collaborative efforts among Star units.
Prior to joining STAR Marketing, a unit of Omnicom Group Inc., Sinacori was Director, Marketing Campaigns & Capabilities in the Global Merchant Services business unit of American Express. In this capacity, he drove the branding and communications strategy for the multitude of integrated marketing campaigns which Amex executes with its merchant partners. Sinacori also spearheaded numerous innovations and reengineering efforts to maximize the efficiency of creative development and production processes as well campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Sinacori was previously part of Omnicom's MBA Residency program, working at agencies across varying marketing disciplines, including BBDO, Interbrand, Rapp, and OMD. Prior to completing his MBA at the Wharton School in 2003, he worked at Ernst & Young and Credit Suisse where he developed a solid business and financial grounding.
