Global Test Solutions (GTS), in conjunction with Toellner Electronic Instruments, today announced the release of the 70kHz analog control option for the 8810 Series programmable arbitrary power generators. As the number and sophistication of electronic control modules proliferates, testing at ever-higher interference frequencies is required. Toellner increased the bandwidth of its analog control option to 70 kHz for simulation of noisy environments on electronics in vehicles, aircraft, and battery-powered devices.
"With the increased amount of electronics in vehicles and research into alternative types of power, the ability to simulate all aspects of electrical energy in a system is required at every phase of design and production," said Ulrich Toellner, founder, Toellner Electronic Instruments.
In addition to many predefined standard pulses for the automotive and avionics sectors, the 8810 Series arbitrary power generators can generate completely arbitrary power curves. Curves generated can be standardized test voltage profiles, as well as custom patterns unique to the designs characteristic of different manufacturers and industries. The 8810 Series also outputs dips and drops, load dump pulses, and many types of complex voltage variations. A comprehensive library of curves typical to various devices is also included.
