CHICAGO, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- UAL Corporation , the holding company whose primary subsidiary is United Airlines, today announced that Gregory Kaldahl has been named vice president - Resource Planning. In this role, he is responsible for route planning, network development and capacity planning for United's domestic and international network and United Express.
Since August 2006, Kaldahl has served as managing director - International Planning and Scheduling, responsible for route and capacity planning for United's international network. Kaldahl previously served as director of United Express and manager of domestic planning and manager of international planning. He joined United in September 1997.
"Greg has played a critical role in shaping United's industry-leading international network," said Kevin Knight, senior vice president of planning. "He and his team will continue to shape our network, ensuring we are providing our customers with the schedule and markets that matter most to them."
Kaldahl assumed his new role on Dec. 10. He is based at United's corporate headquarters in Chicago and reports to Knight.
